toxicity and harassment - Zach L. | 2B-140 - 01-12-2021

is there a way that we can report players in-game the level of toxicity that I experienced the other day was unbearable I try to contact the admin or a staff member but I've yet to see that member removed from the game? the child was chasing me around swearing at me and other members of the community  feelsbadman

There is no in-game reporting system unless staff are online.

Other resources:
  1. If you are being harassed with staff online, try to contact them using @ chat. You can tell if staff are online by going to the F4 menu and info - staff.
  2. Other than this, there are some degrees of tolerable disrespect in-game that can be handled by prefects. Try going that route.

For #3: You need to obtain evidence of the toxicity and report it (whether this be screenshotted logs or a video that you uploaded... they'll even accept camera phone videos of your monitor as evidence so long as it's clear enough).

Standard things needed include the person's name and steam ID (you can get their steam ID on the tab menu by clicking their name and clicking Copy SteamID)

here is an example of one of my reports from back when the report section was public (the format has since changed a little)

Unfortunately, being toxic isn’t against the rules so yea I wouldn’t count on the staff team to do anything about that. 

It bums me out too that the only decent HWRP server on gmod is full of jerks and there’s nothing that you or me can do about it (even if you try, and believe me I have tried)
