Nice Halo Maps

This map is already in the content pack, but it is a way better map to use as a homebase than the uhhhh map we are currently using. It is extremely large and has a lot of good areas to it.

This map is the interior of Covenant CCS Class Battlecruiser. It would be a good event map if any GMs could find a use for it.

Another map that is using a Covenant CCS Battlecruiser, but this map actually has an exterior and is not a closed off map. The exterior is basically just space but you can go outside none the less.

This is a map that uses the Orbital MAC Platform as it's layout. The entire map is shrouded in darkness and looks to be in a damaged state. This could be used as another event map.

I'm not sure how many of these maps are in the content pack, but I'm pretty sure only one of them is.



(3) What made you feel that this change was necessary or would make a great addition: It adds more variation to events and a much better homebase than the one we are using.

(4) List what you think (if any) could be possible negatives if your suggestion were to be added: The only negatives I could see are that the maps don't work well with multiplayer.

Any new content is good for the server. ANY.

Especially the new map. The one we have currently is structured in a very linear way that makes it boring to go to place A to place B. Having a more compact base would help a lot with that problem.

That Orbital MAC Platform.

If only our currently Revival map that we hang out on looked like that. I would kill to have our platform look like a legitimate platform instead of a broken, blocky, half built station lol.

100% agree with this. We looked at that map and thought it was better then what we are currently on. However it will be a little while before we use it IF we do. The map has some missing textures and other problems from a server dev perspective its not the right choice for now. Also the one we are on now makes everyone closer to each other so we can stay social for this period while the HaloRP community is developing.

Where are you getting the missing textures? I didn't get any while on it. What are some examples of other problems from a server dev perspective? And I disagree when you say the map is to big for right now, you could easily have it to where only a certain amount of people can be off base. The map we are on right now is as massive as this map.

The HaloRp TFG map is a good map i can recommend it from personnel Experience. And it has alot of Potential for Optimization and Customization.
Now as for the missing textures, you just need the ones that it Requires in order to see it. And if it is still a issue make sure you dont have them Disabled somehow.
Also with this map, there are plenty of things that could be removed such as the ground area around the SoS Gravity lift to the ship, that area in particularly is filled with Props and can cause lag if alot is happening in that area. And Tress can be Removed to create paths and clearings were Possible RP can happen. Also Road markers could be placed saying were a road goes.  Also with the Underground Bunker that is on map, it could be Cleared out and Transformed into what is needed, as the Town actually has enough Room for all Regiments and Branches, while the main base could actually house Naval,ONI,ODST's and Spartans, even Airforce due to its Hangers, It also raises the possible RP aspect of Logistics and Convoys across the map, transporting supplies and such, Supplied could also be airlifted out of that base aswell. 

Overall this map Caters to every Branch, Division, and Faction. And the best part there is a Security Zone which controls the Road Block Pillars. And there is also a Fairly decent Generator in one of the Town Buildings.

So as for that First map, +1

Now as for the Second map, it would be a good event map, or for when the UNSC is extracted by the SoS from a Dire Situation and were doing a Secondary event which will happen aboard a SoS Ship. or it could be used for when were Attacking a Covenant Ship aswell. It does have a Large hanger, but its a poorly done map and ship and i would not recommend it to be used for long periods of time.

Now the last map the Dead Cario, is mainly themed to be a Infection,Flood based event map, were supposedly ONI was trying to control the Flood and Weaponize for there own Nefarious needs, and it didnt go so well. Now the only thing on this map that would have to be blocked off is the main Hanger Control button in the spawn room, as it opens a Vacum to space which is fairly realistic, but the alarm is loud.. like really loud.

Overall main map i would recommend using is the first one as it has a lot of Potential.

I would ask @Arbiter Thel'Vadam as he knows how to fix these problems and can run the map with no problems. But I must apologies as the map I was looking at was a different map, which had no problems for me. They are the same maps, just the TFG map changed things from the original, but the problems people are having should be fixable.

Can confirm that this fixed my problems with the day map. Night map light posts are still errors though.
