Make a Warning stick

#1
(1) What is your In-game name & Steam ID? - STEAM_0:0:156111154

(1a) Have you read through the Common Suggestions and Answers post? - yes

(2) What is your suggestion? - Make a Warning stick so when you hit someone with it ill will appear a mark behind his name that hes warned before for breaking rules

(3) What made you feel that this change was necessary or would make a great addition? - some people just break rules in  a class and when they get warned they go to the another one and break the rules again and people forget about the AOS so it will remind them

(4) What could be possible negatives if your suggestion were to be added? - maybe the AOS will no longer be needed

There’s a problem with this.

Let’s say that ‘player x‘ freespells aguamenti at someone and you give them a warning with this ‘warning stick’. Later on, another prefect catches them outside of class, looks at their name and see that they have a warning already and send them to detention.

Two entirely different things, two different warnings needs to be provided. As staff, we’ve always enforced that warnings needs to be given unless it’s freespelling attack spells, and if you’re basing that they have been warned through this system, without knowing what that warning was for, a lot of people are going to be sent to detention without a warning to tell them to stop.

TL;DR: ‘Warning’ for one thing, detention for something entirely different based on the original ‘warning’ which provides no information on why they were warned based on the current suggestion.

-1; a flawed suggestion that will cause many problems. Also, data = server lag.

-1 Too complicated and unnecessary (wouldn’t work); current way to prefect is fine and normally you either catch them or you don’t. If you lose them in a chase or they run away then you could easily put a DOS.

I agree with Jake, different things need different warnings. -1

I think a better thing is to create a Waring system.
Like staff have but for prefect. they can set the warning up and then its there until they get arrested it resets

30 day lock

Sick of being in my head and thinking about my fate
And worried about my health
Wanna waste away my days with a pretty young thing
And blow through all my wealth
I made some mistakes, not so good with planning
But I got some skills in easy living
Cut my ties with desperation
and learned to live with a little sensation

Hey
Just for the day we’ll pretend I’m made of money
I’ll be your sugar daddy
Hey
Let’s make a fool of ourselves and crash a party
Act like we own the place
