(1) Have you read through the Common Suggestions and Answers post? - Yes
(2) What is your suggestion? - I'm not expecting this to pass, but I think the sentinels should be able to attack while sprinting.
(3) What made you feel that this change was necessary or would make a great addition? - They're already confined to only being able to sprint as the fastest mode of transportation, this makes them obsolete to be able to do their job of stopping in school snatches. Most people zip by the statues while using spongify/carpe/bhopping and thus it makes the statues feel useless. Add this to the janky sword hitbox and you have a sentinel that can't protect the students of hogwarts. I can occasionally stop a snatch as a statue (and I'm not too pressed about that, aurors are the main mobile snatch stoppers), but during LD specifically I feel as if the statues should be able to put up a fight like in the movies. Overall, I think being able to attack while sprinting would make the statues a viable LF option for LD's, make playing as a sentinel more entertaining, and would make sentinels slightly better at preventing snatches.
(4) What could be possible negatives if your suggestion were to be added? - People may be more enticed to break the statue's job rules by running around with the sword, It could seem polarizing to add a slight buff to the agility of a "statue" character (although the name of them is SENTINEL statue, meaning they should be able to protect the school), and DF may be upset with LF getting another buff for LD's
