Yes, I do agree and accept these terms and conditions.

(1a) What is your most recent or commonly known in-game name or alias? -
Richard Hanshaw

(1b) What is your current year level in-game? (MUST be at least 7th year to apply.) -
Prestige 1 sixth year

(1c) List any alternative Steam accounts you may have -
N/A

(2.) In which time zone do you reside? -
New york eastern time
(2a) Please provide the hours of the day that you are the most active on the Hogwarts RP server according to CST (Chicago, US), so the managers and staff know when they can expect to see you. -
6pm- 9:30pm on weekdays Weekends I'm on all day
(3.) What is your age? -
20
(4.) Approximately, when was the first time that you joined our Hogwarts RP server and how did you initially discover it? -
Maybe 4 to 5 years. I discovered it because I am a fan of Harry Potter.
(4a) How can we be certain that you will remain active on the server upon being accepted for a volunteer staffing position? -
When i get home from work most of the time i am on my PC.
(4b) Do you understand that you can be let go at any time for excessive inactivity at our discretion? -
Yes
(5.) Do you understand and agree to not only comply with, but also enforce the rules of the server when necessary? -
Yes
(5a) Please explain each of the main server rules and what they each mean, to convey to us that you understand and comprehend them wholly.
1. No fail RP:
No fail rp means, students at hogwarts are required to follow the rules provided and if in violation it goes under fail RP for example if a student dies a Roleplay Death and returns to there position immediately
they are breaking NLR which is a form of fail RP.
2. Be respectful:
It is important that all players on SBS: Hogwarts RP provide the most minimum amount of toxicity possible. with this, being respectful is a very vital skill when playing in order to build relationships, create a warm environment, and a likeable area for others. This also goes under obeying staff members and RP leaders to ensure a consistent flow in the game.
3. No RDM:
RDM stands for random deathmatch. This typically occurs when players in the server use damaging projectiles in order to be a nuisance to situations going on, or to hurt another person. This tends to be when a player performs it excessively where staff usually gets involved.
4. Obey staff and RP leaders:
This categorizes back to respectfulness. Obeying staff and RP leaders allows the fluidity of the server to continue while being guided in an orderly fashion. If this does not take place, chaos can abrupt and ruin the experience for others.
5. No free-spelling:
No free-spelling prevents players from casting the same spell multiple times with mal intent. When people do this, the sole purpose is to minge around and seek attention while ruining experiences for others. A good example is when a group of students huddles around a single student and casts stupefy in order to not be able to stand.
6. No metagaming:
Players metagame in RP situations by using prior knowledge to their advantage for the sake of their character. A good example of this would be knowing prior that a player you're about to confront has ties with different individuals. You would use this against him while in the RP situation,  your character knew nothing about that.
7. Do not mic spam or chat spam:
Mic spamming and chat spamming can be very annoying for other people. If you are running around spamming songs/writing things in chat repetitively, this can not only violate other rules such as hate speech, etc. But, you could also risk being offensive to your peers.
8. Owlpost is for RP purposes only:
Owlpost is to be used in RP situation where specific things need to be announced. When players use it incorrectly it sometimes confuses other players who are following the rules. An example, owlpost can be used when the teacher dictates he/she wants PTS active in there classroom.
9. No ERP:
ERP stands for erotic roleplay. To keep it flat and simple, its gross. We don't need that on gmod, and especially not on a Harry Potter server. We're here to have fun and enjoy each others company the right way.
10. No exploiting or cheating of any kind:
If you're exploiting/cheating, you're ruining the game for others. A good example of exploiting is AFK exploiting on a job that someone might want to use if you are not present. A better example of cheating is using bunny hopping scripts. If you're running from someone, and that person miraculously picks up speed to get away from you, it ruins the thrill of the chase.

(6.) Tell us a little about yourself and why you would like to be accepted for a volunteer staffing position on SBS. (100 words or less) -
Hi, my name is Cameron. But on the server you might know me as Richard Hanshaw. I've been playing on the server for a few years on and off, but throughout the time I've really enjoyed every minute of it. I have been in love with Harry Potter for a while and to share that with a community has been phenomenal. I want to start helping out as staff since I really think my experience on the server along with personality can provide good service to the community.

(7.) In your opinion, which quality of yourself do you feel that you need to improve on the most? -
One quality I've always wanted to improve on is no doubt my extroversion. My whole life, I've always been out there. But sometimes, I really wish I could take time to myself and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

(7a) In your opinion, which skill set of yours do you feel that you need to improve on the most? -
A skill set of mine I've always wanted to improve is my kindness. I've always tried my best to be kind to everyone I interact with, but I'm human, so I let my feelings get the best of me.

(8.) How would having you on our volunteer staff team benefit our server and what qualities set you apart from the rest of the applicants? -
Having me on the staff team will benefit the server since in the past, I've had very good experiences with de-escalating situations and bringing groups of people togethor in a positive way. I'm a fun guy who can ensure fun for others in a fair fashion.

(9.) Have you ever previously maintained a game server staffing position, or currently are, on any other Garry's Mod servers? If so, which ones, and in which staffing positions? (List them if possible) -
N/A

(10.) Have you ever previously been banned on any Garry's Mod or SBS servers? If yes, then please list approximately when, how long, and the reasoning(s). -
Yes. I have been banned one time that I can remember for speaking about drama in a comedic fashion after a moderator told me not to. It was for 30 minutes.

(11.) In your opinion, are the server staff or the players of more importance? Why? -
Everyone is of equal importance. At the end of the day, server staff are players too and its vital for everyone whos playing SBS: Hogwarts RP to be having a fun time. Why play a video game if not?

(12) How would you rate your skills overall out of 10 (E.g., patience, response time, etc.) -
I would rate myself a 7.5

(13.) If you find yourself in a 'staff-sit' where you're unsure of how to fairly distribute punishment and or handle the situation or discrepancy at hand, what do you do? -
I would ask for a second opinion from a fellow staff member. If I was the only member of staff online i would check back on the rules, ask other witnesses of said situation what they experienced and go from there.

(14.) You both understand and realize, that by applying for a volunteer staffing position on the server, you are sacrificing the complete freedom of being able to role-play and or socialize freely all the time without any interruptions, and are obligated to handle all server issues and or volunteer staff position tasks at hand no matter the situation and to the best of your abilities? -
Yes I understand.

(15.) If applicable, please provide a list of all your previous volunteer staff applications, provide a link to them if possible, and list any reasons why they may have been locked. If they were previously accepted, please provide a short explanation of why you are no longer volunteer staff at the time of this application. (Disregard if this is your first application) -

Going off of Gametracker, you have been on twice in the last 30 days, I'd recommend getting your activity and rep up before applying

#3
While I have never personally seen you on and I feel that some of the rules and there descriptions are off. It seems you make it out thay everyone who breaks is a rule is a “nuisance” or a “Minge”. There’s more too your rules but I feel that you should read up on other peoples apps to get more of a feel for it. You could even check over my GM app. Overall I feel that you haven’t cemented yourself in the community as Joe has iterated by game tracker and you’re rules are very strange.

Overall  -1

Hey Richard, I'm glad you're interested in a staff position, its nice to see fresh faces.

I noticed your last warn was logged just a few days ago, I would suggest not breaking rules
but rather enforcing them as a prefect, its also wise to review the compendium as well.
Get yourself know to the staff and community members, be active, take on leadership roles,
and hosting great halls and prefect meetings.

For now, I will be a -1 .. Of course my vote is subject to change if
I see you actively doing the things I stated above. Good luck!

Some of the rules you have written seem to just be a run around that doesn’t actually explain and rather gives your opinion and feeling towards the rule. ( examples above )

Neutral as I have no idea who you are

I now know who you are and you just constantly break rules

Two nights ago you were on a prefect power trip with a few other prefects, arresting players for no reason or just not giving warnings. I feel as if you are not active enough or ready to become a staff member. I recommend to look at the prefect guide, teach classes, hold a great hall, and lead with example when it is prefect law.

Yeah sorry man but after seeing your attitude when you are prefect I'm also going to be -1. During a lot of PTS classes you are rude to a lot of people who come late and tell them to shut up instantly rather than politely telling them to be quiet.

Also want to add that you and your buddy are activating PTS so you can power trip. (you are both friends on Steam, he goes teacher so you can power trip as prefect)

From what I’ve seen I’d say you have a lot to grow off of.
You seem to have toxic behavior and somewhat disrespectful over all. Your explanation of the rules is vague and could use a lot more detail. Feel free to look at staffs old applications to get an idea of what the expectations are.

Last night you were Freespelling as a prefect during the awards which got you stripped of weapons. You then complained to us about your wand being taken away. Event or not prefects should not be Freespelling (unless the event coordinator specifically asks for it). Freespelling on unarrestable jobs can fit under rule 5: no Freespelling.

If you really want to become staff you will take the time to see what you’re doing wrong and take this feedback to improve.

I do not think you are fit for staff at this time.
