I'm keeping as professional as I possibly can with these trolly comments. like seriously the only comments so far are from people who play at different times as me. ofc you don't know me we don't play at the same times.  you not knowing me does not mean anything at all. my responses are valid points and I guess I get why you don't like truth but i don't lie. Tyr is a troll that's well known by everyone, dude constantly trolling and breaking rules on the server. So I simply pointed out he's a troll which he is. secondly the guy saying he doesn't know me. that was a valid response as well. dudes arrogant af thinking he will know every person on the server maybe i could have worded it better but. Am I wrong in thinking that no. all in all stop being trolls guys. not cool at all XD like I could have been an a hole about it but I wasn't I pointed out the facts. hate me for it I don't care I'm a realist lol. You'll have to forgive me, I don't post on the forums often, or play on the server much anymore because of my deteriorating health, but since you seem to be having an issue with what you perceive to be trolling, allow me to redress this from a perspective of a person who never has trolled people on this or any server.

#1: The application itself - The application itself is rather threadbare and sparse, as has been mentioned before. What this technically means is that your responses to each of the individual questions are very bare, not much in explanations or descriptions, especially given your interpretation of the rules. This is a concern given your claimed amount of time on the server. People want to SEE your knowledge and your passion through your words, and they simply do not see it here, as it's spartan appearance and length more indicates either a lazy or an uninterested mentality, which is something nobody wants in a staff member.

#2: The issue of lack of knowing who you are - This issue has been brought up by nearly everyone who has replied on this application (Well, except for @@[red] Tyr ), However it is a valid one to bring up. The reason for this is because members, especially long term players, wish to get to know the people who request a position of authority over them. If they do not know who you are and how you are in the server, how can they expect to judge your capabilities as a regular player, which is arguably going to be the most important factor in deciding whether or not you should have a position of staff IE: your prior conduct on the server? People need a frame of reference as to if you would be a good fit for staff, positive or negative. If neither are present in their minds, then the fact that they do not know who you are IS a valid point to bring up, and you should not dismiss this concern as simply trolling, because to isn't a trolling comment to make, the point IS a valid one to raise, and no, the opinions of only those who know you are not the only ones that matter. After all, the position of mod has authority over all players, not just the ones who do know you.

#3: The unprofessional and snide responses - Now this one here I  believe is going to be your major sticking point. You put up a very short application piece, and have not been on the server much, or nobody knows you that has posted here. Ok, those do not tell if you will be a good staff member or not on their own. However, your responses to those who have commented on the application so far? Those will tell people immediately a number of things, how well you handle being confronted with a contrary statement or opinion. What kind of responses you are likely to give if in a position of authority. And it also reflects what kind of decisions you will make using that kind of authority. And I must say, you seem to show a very high level of defensive reflex, as well as sassy snarkiness in your replies. You perceive the replies you've received as trolling yes? In that case, why didn't you just ignore them and focus on legitimate replies? You don't need to respond to every reply. However, since you have done so, the problem becomes, "Well, if he is going to respond like this on his app, whats stopping him from punishing people for what he thinks is 'trolling'?" You have to consider, you are asking these people for a position of authority over them. They will not give it to you if you treat them poorly. And the current Staff team do not want someone in their ranks who will cause them no end of headaches in having to deal with the fallout of your choices, and reversing poor decisions you've made. I'm not saying you'll make bad decisions, abuse power or any of that, but I am saying is that is what it looks like will happen to others, because perception is very important.

#4: My opinion - Now, as for my own opinion of whether you should be a member of staff or not. I have to say, much like the others so far, I do not know you. In the near three years I've played on this server, I've played across multiple time zones, but if I have seen you, or met you, I do not remember you at all. Nothing about your name jumps out at me as being memorable really, so I cannot judge your conduct within the server. I will say, if you're not known for being a negative influence, then that at least is a good thing, but not nearly enough to judge your character for a position of authority.

Your application however, does seem rushed and bare. Your responses to the rules are incredibly barren, and lack any sort of explanation or any examples given of how you would conduct yourself during such situations.

Your responses to questions 7 and 7a do raise a different kind of concern for me as well. You do not trust people, you said. Then how will you be able to work in a team that requires trust? How will you trust in having superiors (Admins, management, ect) having to give you feedback and direction? How can you ask these people here to trust in you having a staffing position over them if you don't trust them? Kind of a double edged sword of Damocles there. and 7a,s response is baffling, as that response, while valid in a job interview, actually has no real bearing on the server.

And finally, your responses show that you get defensive and combative very quickly and easily. This alone would tell me you're not ready yet. The reason is because the position of moderator is not for those who lose control of their emotions so easily. In this position, people will test you. They will push you, they will throw you curve balls you could not anticipate. And you will be insulted, trolled, shat on, disrespected, and harassed, constantly. There's no pay or health benefits to it either, and you WILL get frustrated, very very quickly. But, at ALL times, you have to maintain professionalism and be courteous. Because of the way you replied earlier in this thread, I do not believe you are capable of doing this yet. And I know, because I've been trained in these very things professionally for doing my IRL job, which involved security and customer service. I understand not everyone has had the training I have, so the advice I offer to anyone who applies for a staffing position like this is simply this: "You are going to need thick skin and tank armor.  People are going to throw all kinds of verbal crap at you, break all the rules and push you to the brink. You need to be able to shrug off all of it like water off a ducks back, and conduct yourself according to the rules and guidelines of your position. No point in getting heated, that just makes you burn through your energy faster, and the result will be the same. You'll need that energy to not just log out, and keep on staffing."

Unfortunately, for all these reasons, I too will have to vote with a -1 on this application. In my opinion, you are simply not known by the general populace enough, and your current negative and defensive responses do not paint you in a positive light. Sorry.

Also -1 on the application cuz who are you

Dude, you literally logged for the first time in probably a year yesterday https://imgur.com/a/y7oolGT
I'd say it is pretty fair for people to say that they don't know you since barely rejoined the server.
Also you don't seem very "patient and understanding" when you go on a little kiddie rage after someone said they don't know you after you've only logged on once for 2 hours yesterday?
