I need HELP!

#1
Ok so recently my game has been freezing/stuttering/drops to 1 frame and stays there.

I go from 50-80 fps to 1 then it freezes every 2 seconds, it's physically unplayable.
I'v seen people play the game with no stutters or frame drops at 20 fps, i'm honestly baffled.
I'v uninstalled the game already which fixed the problem last time but, still, nothing.

Imma die ;-;

My game used to do the same thing when I had a certain addon installed. Whenever I pulled the weapon out in the addon it used to drop to 1fps and just freeze and unfreeze every few seconds. Small possibility you could have the same issue.

I only play HWRP so I won't need to pull put any wep apart from the wand, I'll try to clear my addons see if that's the issue.

Try simply restarting your PC.

I've had a similar problem maybe twice ever in the nearly 4 years of the Hogwarts RP server's existence. Simply restarting my PC has fixed it for me both times. I feel like a lot of us never restart our computers.
Don't disrespect me, I'm your Dad.

That's actually fair, I just put my pc to sleep when I'm not on it. I'll test that now.

For me it freezes sometimes and it doesnt let me close Gmod so I m forced to restart it either way and usually it fixes it.

I had this happen yesterday and I restarted my pc which turned out had to have a massive update which took ages but was fixed afterwards.

The best thing to do probably, is to lower your settings, maybe delete some addons that are not useful? It could be your screen resolution but that is unlikely. You could look online and have a look what is making your FPS go down. Also, restart your PC and don't have many apps running at once as that can decrease your FPS quite a bit.

The problem is fixed now, all I had to do was restart my pc lol, I lowerd my resolution also which gave me major fps boost and stopped minor stuttering :D

Edit: nvm it was fine on the event map, as soon as we switched to the normal HWRP map, it started freezing again.
