Fighting and Fleeing the Colosseum or other PVP zones

Note:
  • Once you enter the Colosseum and begin casting spells or have someone cast spells at you, you are considered to be engaged in a fight.
  • If you are engaged in a fight, you must actively participate in the fight. Flying around using spells or SWEPs, making you unhittable, is considered abuse of those respected items. (This example is okay to do as long as the shapeshift cooldown is not avoided: Fly into the air >> Cast a spell >> Land (3-second cooldown on SWEP should be here) >> Repeat)
Rules:
1.) You are given the standard NLR time if you are to flee from a fight in the Colosseum and your opponent cannot chase you. You may not return until your NLR time is up.
2.) You as a Void or Neutral force are automatically revealed in the Colosseum out of Recreation class and are revealed in other PVP zones during Recreation class.
3.) You as a Void or Neutral force must leave the Colosseum during Recreation class and cannot return until the next class period reaches 550 seconds. If you are a rogue, you may stay in the colosseum but you cannot capture or fight until the next class period reaches 550 seconds.
4.) Other designated area becomes a temporary PVP zone when recreation class is in session and until the next class period reaches 550 seconds.

Buying, Selling and Rescuing Captives

General rules:
1.) Once a transaction is agreed upon between two parties, interfering with this transaction is not allowed. E.g. Not following through with the payment and/or murdering the buyer/seller.
2.) When a transaction is completed, buyer's protection is enabled. This means that the buyer cannot be killed while escorting their purchase to their desired location. This includes rogues and celestial that are escorting a purchased captive to the school.

Buying -The act of buying a player that is captured:
1.) Scholars are not permitted to buy captives unless they are a Head Enforcer or a Valedictorian.
2.) May only hold up to two snatched people at once unless you're ? who may hold up to 4.

Selling -The act of capturing a player and selling them to a buyer:
1.) You may not sell a captive past 150,000 galleons. If you wish to exceed this limit, you may auction them.
2.) If you're going to sell a captive and want to pin them to something, you may not pin it to an unreachable location that you cannot access without spells or SWEPs. This is so that rescuing does not become an impossible task.

Rescuing -The act of sneaking into Void territory to rescue a captured player by stealing and/or murdering the Captor:
1.) You may rescue if your job follows the Sentinel ruleset.
2.) You may rescue once per class period.
3.) You may not use Nebulus, Speedom, or Lykisku to enter Void territory. You must walk across the line.
4.) Once you've passed the line, using Lykisku or Speedom is permitted, but Nebulus is not.
5.) You may not use Diagrius.
6.) You may not attempt to rescue a captive that is currently being sold through a transaction or auctioned. If they are currently being walked into void territory ( wait 10 seconds before you attempt to rescue ).
7.) You must rescue alone without any other assistance.
8.) You may not release a captive while you both are in void territory.
9.) You may ONLY target and kill the single Void member that is holding the rope OR any Void member that is physically body blocking/blocking your successful rescue. If there are others present, they may shoot at you but you may not shoot at them.
10.) You may chase the Sentinel (if you're Void) if they are to successfully rescue, but you must cease once they pass the void territory boundaries. However, on the Night Map, you are allowed to chase them up to the outer courtyard walls of Starbright. (Void Disciples and the Void Overlord still follow their default boundaries and cannot go up to the walls)
Do not use this rule to attempt to murder everyone in void territory.

Safe Zones

Dormitories - Scholars safe zone:
1.) All scholars are expected to be within a dorm room, doesn't matter which, during Lock Downs.
2.) Scholars are free to enter any dorm at any time.
3.) Void and Neutral forces cannot enter dorms during Lock Downs.
4.) Void Captors cannot enter dorms under any circumstance.
5.) Enforcers are permitted to arrest within dorms as long as the scholar is actively breaking RP rules. If a scholar is AFK in the dorms or is simply playing chess/checkers, they should not be arrested for skipping class.

Void Territory - Void safe zone:
1.) If you are not buying or rescuing a captive, you are not permitted to enter. Doing so can result in an instant ban.

Restricted Area(s) - Light Forces safe zone:
1.) Any scholars caught inside of the Restricted Areas is Detain on Sight (DOS).
2.) Enforcers may enter periodically to check for scholars but they are not permitted to loiter.
3.) No one is allowed to give scholars a pass to enter.
4.) Non-Council/Starbrightroles are COMPLETELY PROHIBITED from entering with an exception to ghosts, enforcers, and scholars(see rule 1). A member of the Council may request enforcers and ghosts to leave but scholars are to be handled through the detainment system.
5.) Kidnapping is forbidden.

Outer Courtyard - Sentinel apprehension safe zone:
1.) If a celestial apprehends someone and passes into the outer courtyard*, they are considered safe and cannot be attacked.
2.) Even if you are safe, the celestial member should still immediately proceed to the celestial jailing entity.
*Outer courtyard is the walled area outside that stretches between the university walls and the university itself. Once you pass through the gates or through the faded doors that is the bounded area.

Enforcer Law

Enforcer Law (EL) occurs when there are no disciplinary staff online. In the event this occurs, enforcers are granted new permissions to detain players they would normally not be allowed to detain.

New Enforcer Rules:
1.) You as an enforcer may detain other players for breaking server rules, meaning things like fail captures, hate speech, RDM, and of that sort.
2.) All players may also use any means presented to them, within reason, to stop players from causing mayhem. This includes apprehending or capturing RDMers.

If you are able to record evidence, please post a report on this respected forums.

Hits/Contracting

Placing / Accepting Hits:
