The Celestial

Scholars
1.) You may be sent to detention by an Enforcer.
2.) You may explore the university grounds during Free Time or when your class is dismissed at your own risk.
3.) You must stay in your dorms during Lock Down unless told otherwise by staff.
Enforcers | Head Enforcers | Valedictorian
1.) You may only send scholars to detainment.
2.) You must make sure that scholars around you are where they need to be and are behaving.
3.) You must give a warning first before you detain someone unless your roleplay leader is ordering you to.
4.) You may only release someone from detainment that you originally sent.
5.) You may not release yourself from detainment if a higher ranking Enforcer gave it to you.
Head Enforcers+ 6.) You may arrest troublesome Enforcers below you in the hierarchy.
Statue
1.) You may not pull out your sword without a valid roleplay reason such as witnessing a revealed Void.
2.) You may only defend if you witness a situation firsthand, or if you're called upon in Telemail.
3.) You may not freely roam around the map. You may move around every now and then, but stay within the university and remain stationary a majority of the time.
Instructors
1.) You must stay on the topic of the class's main subject and should actually attempt to teach something before handing out XP books.
2.) You must make a legitimate effort to explain a spell before handing it out.
3.) You may not spawn books outside of your active classroom.
4.) You may not take your class on a field trip without the approval of a staff member. If you are on a field trip, all active class rules apply to your group.
5.) You must stay in the classroom until the bell rings in the event someone shows up late.
6.) You may purchase up to two people at once from the Void.
7.) If the active classes are split into two, instructors are required to teach in their classrooms. If the classes are combined into one class, the teacher may teach in the mid courtyard.
Dean
1.) You must ensure that all instructors are doing their job adequately.
2.) You may demote an instructor through a staff member if they are not doing their job.
3.) You may send orders out to all parties of Starbright.
4.) You may substitute classrooms if a teacher is not present.
Starbright Acheron
1.) You are considered an Enforcer when you are not revealed.
2.) You may only enter void territory if you have a captive.
3.) You are always a Celestial in all fighting scenarios.
4.) You are revealed if you use cuffs or Entangle outside of the university walls.
5.) You may not use Obliterate inside of the university if you are snatching.
6.) You may not assist others with capturing, you must always capture alone.
Sentinels | Elite Sentinels | The Order | Shapeshifters
1.) You may not run into the void territory with the sole intent to attack The Void.
2.) You can free kidnapped scholars by paying a ransom to a seller or by sneaking into the void territory alone. (See Grey Areas)
3.) You may purchase up to two people at once from The Void.
Shapeshift SWEPs | Shapeshifters | Shapeshifts
1.) You may harm scholars if you are provoked, but you cannot kill within the university.
2.) You cannot enter active classrooms.
3.) You cannot carry a constrained person.
4.) You may not transform into a werewolf within the school except for The Celestial werewolf.
5.) You may be within void territory as long as you are not performing your Celestial duties.
a.) At all times any Void reserves the right to kill you.
b.) You may not transform out of your form within void territory.
Satyr Companions:
1.) You can choose your master/companion. Once chosen, you must listen to them as rule 4 takes affect.
2.) If you or your master dies, or you are freed verbally by your master, you are free once again. Note that suicide is FailRP.
3.) You cannot enter active classrooms.
4.) You side as a wild neutral during fighting scenarios if you are not currently enslaved/active companion.
5.) You side with your master's faction meaning you may assist with saving, or fighting (but not rescuing). Keep the second Satyr Companion rule in mind.
Sentinels with Cuffs
1.) You may apprehend all Void except for the Void Overlord, and Cyclops. You may not apprehend within void territory.
2.) You cannot apprehend Wild Neutrals but may apprehend Allied Neutrals and the Tartarus Escapee.
3.) You may not apprehend someone that has a captive attached to them, this is to prevent trains.
4.) You may only apprehend rogues, allied neutrals or the Escapee that are revealed.
5.) You must take all the targets to the celestial jail entity located in the university's outer wall tower. It is your goal as a Sentinel to take targets there and jail them.
The Void 6.) You may not cross your normal boundaries to attempt and rescue a fellow Void. If you are a rogue and witness an apprehension, you may choose to either reveal yourself and attempt to rescue the Void member or remain disguised. If you attempt to rescue and whether you succeed or not, you are still revealed.
Godnamehere | Godnamehere | Godnamehere
1.) You simply serve to protect and follow similar rules to Sentinels. This means you may rescue.
2.) You do not have a roleplay leader, but you should not interrupt classes or perform actions against the university.
Celestial Sided Animals
1.) You fit into this category if you are the following jobs: Unicorn, Hippogriff, Baby Hippogriff, or Cercopes.
2.) You may attack players for attempting to ride on you or are provoking you.
3.) You should never kill another Celestial member.
4.) You fight for the Celestial during all fighting scenarios.
5.) You may not enter classrooms.
The Void
Spoiler
1.) You may not disallow the capturing of a specific party or group of people such as commanding all Void Catpros to avoid Dorm Eos members. An alternative would be to give a bonus to Captors if they capture a specific party or group of people.
Rogues
1.) You fit into this category if you work undercover as a Celestial and are the following jobs: Void Captor, Head Void Captor, Void Rogue, Werewolves (in human form), or other specific custom jobs.
2.) If you do something considered dark, you are revealed. This includes using Nebulus Nox, capturing, assisting other revealed Void, Zalisifa outside of the university's outer walls, being within void territories, being within the Colosseum/alternate PVP areas (see grey areas), being in specific shapeshift forms, or casting dark magic spells.
3.) If you are revealed, you must retreat to void territory--this should always be your number one priority.
4.) You may kill anyone threatening your escape, but keep in mind you must be outside the school to use Kata Skoto.
5.) You must leave the school once a Lock Down ends and may not return until the following class reaches 550 seconds. You may choose to hide either in a shapeshift form or within an empty room. If a Celestial sees you before 550, they may still kill you.
Void Captors | Head Void Captor
1.) You may not capture if the number of Captors is outnumbered by the number of Council or scholar jobs in the area, including the target (animals do not count towards the witness total unless they are a revealed shapeshift; celestial or wild). If the numbers are equal to or more then capturing is allowed. You may not capture if an instructor is present when the Captors outnumber the witnesses. You must use Kapno to mask your actions to capture in a group setting where captors are outnumbered or in the area of an instructor. (Example)
2.) You may not capture anyone that is not a scholar, Sentinel, and other Council related job.
3.) You may capture anywhere on the grounds with the exception to the dorms, spawn area, stairs leading to the spawn area, active classrooms, Astrology, or the dean's office.
4.) You may not enter the university courtyard if you are the Head Void Captor unless a Lock Down is in progress.
5.) You must see if your roleplay leader wants a victim first before you sell them. They are required to give you 50% of your asking price if they want them.
6.) You are revealed as a captor if you pull out your cuffs, you cast damaging spells at celestial, or Zalisifa outside of the university walls.
7.) You are always revealed during Lock Down, at the Colosseum when Recreation is not in session, and at alt PVP sites when Recreation is in session.
8.) You may only capture one person at a time.
9.) You may not intentionally reveal yourself for the sole purpose of starting fights.
10.) You may not hang people inside the university or outer courtyards. Anywhere else is fine.
11.) You may not start rope trains (capturing someone with a captured person attached).
12.) If you choose to abandon a captive in an isolated location (such as the forest, underwater, etc.) such as to torture them, you must stay in the area of your captive.
13.) You may break rule 7 to an extent when torturing your captives as long as you're not playing music, using a soundboard, violating any other rule, and are not audible to other players.
14.) You may only Kill people who are threatening your escape.
15.) Pinning on the bridge is not permitted
Void Rogues
1.) You may freely roam around Starbright as long as you are not revealed.
2.) You may not enter scholar dormitories without a valid roleplay reason.
3.) You are revealed if you are seen assisting a Void and you must retreat to void territories.
4.) You may not nebulus in front of someone for the sake of revealing yourself.
5.) You are always revealed during Lock Down and at the Colosseum/alt PVP sites when the class isn't/is in session.
Werewolf
1.) You may only be in your werewolf form during a Lock Down, in the void territories, or in the Colosseum/alt PVP sites (see grey areas).
2.) You may not harass Void in the void territories. You must leave if asked to by the Void Overlord.
3.) You can enter an active classroom and demonstrate your werewolf transformation without revealing yourself if requested by a instructor. During this time you may not attack anyone.
4.) You may roam up to the outer courtyard on the Night Map in your werewolf form.
5.) You must not transform in the Colosseum during Recreation class.
Cyclops
1.) You may not leave the Void Disciple boundaries unless a Lock Down occurs.
2.) You must fight for the Void during all fighting scenarios.
3.) You may roam up to the outer courtyard on the Night Map.
4.) You must leave the Colosseum during Recreation class.
Void Disciples | Elite Void Disciples
1.) You may kill any opposing force that enters into your boundaries.
2.) You may not roam outside of your boundaries as marked with text screens unless during Lock Down.
3.) You must leave the Colosseum during Recreation class (see grey areas).
4.) You may ransom any kidnapped person.
5.) You must not torture or kill a captive unless the owner is okay with you doing so. If you would like to buy the captive from a Captor, you are entitled to a 50% discount.
6.) You may only hold one captured person at a time.
Void Overlord
1.) You follow all rules that the Void Disciples follow.
2.) You can give orders to any Void Disciples that follow you.
3.) You can demote anyone beneath you if they do something worth a demotion through a staff member; this does not apply to custom jobs. Do note that it is the staff member's decision to accept the demotion.
4.) You can kill or torture your followers as long as there is an appropriate roleplay reason.
X Greek God
1.) You are a rogue job that assists the Void when you see fit.
2.) You may enter void territories.
3.) You do not have a roleplay leader but you work alongside the Void.
Neutrals
Spoiler
Allied Neutrals
1.) You are your own separate faction from the Void and Celestial and work together with other Allied Neutrals.
2.) You are revealed as a Void member if you cast Zalisifa outside of the university walls.
3.) Once you are revealed, you must retreat to void territories.
4.) You follow similar rules to Void when capturing; this reveals you as a Void member.
5.) Once a Lock Down ends, leave the university and you may not return until 550 seconds. If you choose not to leave and are seen before 550 seconds, you risk being killed by a Celestial member. If you wish, you may hide either in a shapeshift form so long as no one saw you transform initially or in an empty room.
6.) You are unable to pick a side during Lock Downs or fighting in the Colosseum.
7.) If you encounter a revealed Void Captor, you have the option to save the victim or help the Captor. If you're saving the victim, you may not use Kata and you may not claim the scholar after the Void Captor dies. If you're helping the captor, Kata is okay to use but assisting the captor reveals you as a Void member; if the captor dies it's fine to pick up the ropes and continue the capture. Note: You may not freely switch back and forth between the two sides.
8.) If you're at a contested Colosseum, you are revealed as neutral no matter if you have a captive or not. By being witnessed as a revealed neutral by a Void member, you may not take that snatch to void territories. (I.e. Void Overlord witnesses you, a neutral, capturing; you cannot return to the void territories since you're revealed so you have no choice but to avoid the territories).
9.) You cannot enter the Void territories unless you have a captive and are not revealed as a neutral.
Wild Neutrals
Low Profile
Included jobs: Dragons, Griffin, Shapeshift Transformations, and Autolycus.
These jobs are wildlife that roams around the grounds of Starbright.
Note: Some of these jobs can be sat on--use !buck to knock off an unwanted rider.
Basic Rules:
1.) All animals may harm scholars if provoked. [Dragons can harm scholars if stood upon but cannot use fire within the university.]
2.) You may not kill within the university walls (the outer courtyard is not considered within the university).
3.) You are completely neutral during fighting scenarios such as Lockdowns, or being within the forest or colosseum. You can kill anyone, including other wild neutrals.
4.) You cannot enter active classrooms.
5.) You cannot carry rope restraints (capturing or apprehension).
6.) If you harm someone within the university, they have the right to kill you.
7.) If you catch the Autolycus pickpocketing you, you alone may kill it.
8.) You may be tamed by any job. If someone tames you, you may assist them in any RP they involve themselves in.
9.) If you are tamed by someone, you must change your name to include theirs. (ex. John's Dragon Billy)
Wraiths:
Generally peaceful, though dangerous if provoked, spirits that roam Starbright.
Basic Rules:
1.) Can attack if it has been directly, physically harmed. This includes direct hits from non-damage spells.
2.) You are completely neutral during fighting scenarios such as Lockdowns, or being within the forests or colosseum. You can kill anyone, including other wild neutrals.
3.) Cannot enter active classrooms unless needed for a demonstration and requested by an instructor.
High Profile
Included jobs: Cyclops, Cerberus, Manticore
These jobs are highly aggressive wildlife that roams around the grounds of Starbright. They are to be feared and treated with the utmost respect.
Basic Rules:
1.) These animals may not enter the school unless raiding. This includes the outer courtyard.
2.) These animals are allowed to raid the school once per class period. They may enter and kill people at their mercy.
3.) When raiding, these animals may not enter or disrupt active classrooms or spawn areas.
4.) You are completely neutral during fighting scenarios such as Lockdowns, or being within the forests or colosseum. You can kill anyone, including other wild neutrals.
5.) You cannot carry rope restraints (capturing or apprehension).
Ghosts
Basic Rules:
1.) Do not use your ghost SWEP to pin other players.
2.) You are not allowed to interrupt or interfere with active classes.
Name:
1.) Follows rules above.
2.) Can micspam to a reasonable degree.( This must be done through your voice only)
3.) Cannot micspam music or something that is racist or harassment.
4.) Can freely insult and annoy students within RP boundaries.
***If you are unsure that what you may do could get you banned, feel free to ask staff in advance.
Tartarus Escapee
Basic Rules:
1.) You may complete a hit you are given unless that person is within Void territories, an active classroom, dormitory, or restricted area. You may not enter any of these areas.
2.) You are revealed as an aggressive Wild Neutral if seen completing a hit. Any witnessing party may attack you.
3.) You must complete hits alone. You may not receive assistance from anyone else.
