My suggestion has to do with the gmod spray mechanic and make it actually safe. By safe I mean in gmod anyone can put anything as a spray including slurs or nsfw. However, with my suggestion this may help.
Have a place you go to on the map whether that be a white board or even a little spray can somewhere. As you go up to it this would bring up a "Spray Creator" more or less that would be similar to the early Halo games and their emblem system. All position would be locked so no one could make a penis or something for a spray but there would be a background and foreground. Background would be some basic shapes or none, foreground would be some shapes that would be picked by guy, the devs, or voted on by the community. Maybe even some donatable stuff for custom sprays could be possible too for guy even.
You could possibly even make it a money sink too as some might want to make some for their families or groups their in. Such as an Okay hand for white gloves, a spider for Ragno, sharp jagged teeth for Sisca, shoes for Shoeshinners, ect
