SBS was once a community I would be eager to be with every day. It was a place for us to forget our daily obligations and just pretend to be someone you're not. Maybe a student at Hogwarts, a naval officer commanding UNSC troops, or even another rank and file clone trooper facing hordes of B1 droids until the tick rate gave out. These were more than just Gmod servers, they were communities where I could get on and see the same faces everyday. So what happened? How did it fall from grace within the span of 3 years? Was it greed, awful people, or a toxic community? The Death of SBS didn't happen when Hogwarts was shut down in 2022, that was just the final nail in the coffin. SBS began to die when people, especially higher upside, stopped caring the the perpetual infighting of the server communities. Instead of supporting each other, we only seemed to undermine the other servers. For the longest time, it felt as if Hogwarts was the only server that was worth updating while Halo and CW suffered as player counts began to drop at the end of 2021. But why? Money. The community was built upon monetary gain over everything else. It was most evident when you say people like Zubey who had basically nothing for the Halo server during 20-21. One higher up who should have done more ended up essentially doing nothing when there were so many people who cared during that time. People like Sinclair were one of the first people I meet in the server and made me actually enjoy the community for some time. Being up for events at 12 AM with 60 players on and a nuke to end off the event is still something I remember. CW was fun too, I remember being in the 187th and dropping in during a 80 player event. I even had fun on Hogwarts for some time, just getting on and being an Auror fighting snatches. But the slow gradual burn happened over time. What I remember of SBS is a server of people who cared and loved the set world they role-played in. But the real timeline of what wrong is not just one event. If I care to come back, I'll finish this tread. But for now, goodbye SBS.

What could of been?
what once was and will never be again.
I loved SBS halo rp with all of my soul, I enjoyed it with all of my heart. I loved sitting in a cursed medbay with coffee demons haunting my every waking step. I loved commanding troopers even though it stressed me the fuck out at first. I loved wearing my stupid pacs that destroyed the server tick rate all by itself. I loved ONLY speaking in a stupid high pitched voice to everyone at all times. I LOVED SBS halo rp...
But it wasn't loved where it mattered.
Issue after issue plagued it as you said and the truth is it died long ago before its closing, only kept alive by the will and might of the few who truly loved it... and also by a few who were forced to into prolonging it.
I never wanted to become staff. Never wanted mod, GM, Admin and Staff Manager. But I took up those positions to keep the boat going. But try as I did, its survival was well out the hands of anyone in my position (and all the other managers for that fact as well). Though in the end I'm glad I did and I'd do it again.
I'm glad that you enjoyed our stupid late night events involving nukes going off like it was the 4th of july and all the other stupid shit we got up to. And even though they were stupid... They were stupid fun, hey were 'our' little way of enjoying our day and I wish I could do that once more. But alas... That will never happen again.

Ugh, those damn Volters. They're always causing chaos and ruining everyone's fun. They don't care about anything except their own selfish desires. They're traitors to the community and don't deserve to be a part of it. And don't even get me started on how they try to steal players from our server to join their stupid one. They can't even come up with their own ideas or content, so they have to resort to poaching. It's disgusting. I wish they would just disappear and leave us alone to enjoy the game in peace. But until then, we need to stand together and fight against their toxic influence.

We, the Men of Menland, are writing to you today to express our dissatisfaction with the lack of a new map update for the Galaxy of Magic RP server. We have been patient, but we have reached our limit. We demand that you release a new map update within one month, or we will be forced to take drastic measures.
The Galaxy of Magic RP server is one of the most popular GMOD RP servers in the world. It has a large and dedicated community of players who have invested a lot of time and effort into the server. We are disappointed that you have not been more responsive to our needs.
We are giving you until the 12th of July on the year of Trolas 2023, to release a new map update. If you do not meet this deadline, we will be forced to take action. We will launch a boycott of the server, and we will encourage our fellow players to do the same. We will also spread negative publicity about the server, and we will encourage
i am sick and tired of the guy not releasing the map! like is it an addiction to play your player base, or are you just stupid? do you have to kill sbs and not have a heart? if so, do you think you could stop it? it's annoying, rude, and ethically wrong. every day you don't release the new map, you worsen my expectations of you and sbs as a whole. next time you think about destroying your community, maybe be up front and shut it all down instead of causing all of these pain of lies, deceit, and hiding from us. think of the lives you destroy and the people you hurt. not following through with your community does more than just get our attention. it degrades our heart and soul. just ignoring people destroys thousands of hearts, causing irreversible damage. think about how not releasing the new galaxy of magic map will affect you as well. by not releasing the new map, it's clear that you are just trying to fill your pockets with money so you can buy more cigarettes. you clearly have nothing else to do, so you have to ruin other people's lives just for the heck of it. please, i ask you, release. the. new. map. now.

For HW, yes. For the other 2, no. HW was also on the decline during 2022. While minor, it was evident. If SBS didn't JUST die when HW died as there were certainly other issues, one being management.

SBS should rebrand as santos rp and then the server group infighting would be able to have gangs and stuff have wars and stuff
Ya'll could also have jobs like Police, fireman and paramedics etc
