Forum Negativity

Now I completely understand every single veterans concerns and worries about the new forums. I however am apart of a large majority of just people in general that believed SBS needed a slick new updated forums since the very original map. I despise Enjin tho so that is probably why I feel this way to be completely honest.

I think this change is for the best tho, it looks way more professional and yes it can be confusing at first but its simple enough to learn your way around. I even think the Donation page should be updated now with the new website, why not use Prometheus a donation system instead of just going through PayPal. Its super simple to setup and use, and its easy to customize to do exactly what you already do but automatically.

I think its a good change overall.

Like this forums setup is the same you will see on every single forum/website. I don't get what is not to understand tbh.

Prometheus doesn't allow the donation to "send to friends", right (since you need a business account)? To my knowledge these 'donations' were payments rather than donations.

I've worked (friends wanted to donate) with it before and it does look way better and is convenient.
However, during the period I used it there were security issues which is actually a huge deal. Even if it got quickly updated.

I have ran Communities before and have never experienced what you're talking about in terms of security issues. They do provide options to set it up just the way SBS does now so a chargeback although may happen is unlikely to go in the favor of the donator.

Well I did and it is a good thing it didn't happen to you.

But I doubt the effect of having such an addon added to the server.
Having a complete system like that with the API connection Server (database) - forums (database). Having the active refresh/check/validate upon donating. Everytime someone will donate...
