(2.) What position are you applying for? - Halo Staff Manager.
 
(3.) When did you first join our server and how did you discover it? - I first joined SBS in September of last year (2018). I found the server through CallMeKevin’s youtube videos. I joined the Halo server when it first opened before taking a break and coming back in September. 
 
(4.) Community staff must be active at a higher standard when compared to staff, do you understand that you may be let go for inactivity? - Yes I understand.
 
(5.) Tell us about yourself and why you want to be staff on SBS? (100 words or less) - 
 Hi! My name is Lila or otherwise known on Halo as PO3 Blair ‘Lila’ Beckett. I am 19 years old and am currently taking college classes online. I work part time and spend (almost) all of my free time on Halo. I love the SBS community, and I love the time so far that I’ve spent staffing on Halo. I want to be the Halo staff manager so I can help lead the team, grow with them, and guide them to be the best that they can be.

(6.) What do you feel you need to improve on the most? - As I stated on my moderator application, leadership. Now I know this can be concerning, but I always feel that there is room for me to improve in this area. I am not often taking on leadership roles, but I know that I can be in one. My leadership is something that can always be improved and I know that staffing positions are one way that I can prove myself to be a better leader.
 
(7.) How would having you on staff benefit our server and what sets you apart from the rest of the applicants? -  I’ve been a part of the SBS community for over a year now. In my time on the servers, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve had the opportunity to moderate for the HogwartsRP server, and now I’m currently moderating for the HaloRP server. This community means a lot to me and I feel like I have grown with it and I want to continue to be apart of it by helping out, whether it be in a manager position or a normal staff position. I believe my time I have spent with the community sets me apart from the other applicants because I’ve had the time to really see how things work. 
 
(8.) Have you been staff/are currently on any other servers? If so, which ones? (List them if possible) -
I was formerly a moderator on the SBS Hogwarts RP server for about 6 months, and I am currently a moderator on the Halo RP server. 

(9.) How would you rate your skills overall out of 10 (EX: Patience, response time, etc) -
Patience: 9/10 - I’m an overall patient person, sometimes I may joke about being impatient but when it comes to handling things I am very patient. 
Professionalism: 7/10 - I can be professional when I need to be, I’ll mess around with people sometimes but when it comes down to it and I need to be serious and act professional I can and will. 
Leadership: 8/10 - Something I can always work on, I can lead but sometimes I doubt myself and my actions. 
Approachability: 8/10 - I try to stay friendly so people feel comfortable enough to approach me about anything.
Problem Solving: 9/10 - When it comes to any type of issue I am able to look at both sides and come up with the best possible solution to solve the problem.

(11.) (Optional) Provide examples of situations you would handle in the position you are applying for and how you would handle them. - 

Staff Reports:
    Reports depend on what they are being reported for, some things such as maybe an attitude towards a player or handling a situation wrongly can be fixed just by having a talk, while other things like abusing their powers or harassing a player could result in a bigger punishment. With or without evidence the staff member who is being reported would be questioned about the event, but without proper evidence I would most likely just have a short talk and tell the staff member to be careful of what they do, and try to inform the player to gather evidence next time. 

Power Abuse: 
    There are many ways a staff member can abuse their powers, whether it be something such as a GM/Admin spawning things without a reason, a staff member acting bias towards certain players in sits and punishing them harsher than a normal player would get punished, or something as simple as using their commands without reason (whether that be noclip, freezing, tp’ing, etc.). Each individual case would have to be handled differently based on the severity. If it were a GM or Admin spawning things, or any staff member abusing their commands, it would likely only lead to a talk with that person and they would get a warning. At that time I would inform them that if I have to warn them again about the same thing, it would result in a temporary suspension of their powers, and if it happens a third time it could lead to removal. If there was another case that was more severe, such as a staff member harassing a player or making any types of threats, depending on the severity it would most likely lead to a temporary suspension of their powers, and if it happens again the staff member would most likely be removed from the team. Overall the punishment depends on the situation. 

Inactive Staff: 
    Staff do have normal lives and can’t be expected to dedicate all 24 hours of their day to the server. I can not expect someone to cancel their plans just for a gaming server, I can not predict when they’re going to just not be feeling up to being on, or whatever their reason. I think the best thing to do for the staff team would be to implement a minimum amount of hours that staff members need to be active weekly, probably being around 10-12 hours each week. If a staff member is going to be absent for more than one or two days on the server, or can not meet the required hours, I would need to be informed that they are going to be LOA and given some type of time frame if possible. If a staff member is inactive for more than two days without letting me know, or they are not meeting the required hours, I would reach out to them first to try and find out why they haven’t been on, then just give them a simple warning that they need to be more active. If a staff member is being consistently inactive without telling me for multiple periods of time, and they have been given two or more warnings, they may be removed from the team. I understand that real life comes before gaming, but I need to be informed when a staff member will not be on so I don’t think they are just inactive without reason. 

Staff leaking: 
    While I don’t believe this has been a major issue, I do think it should be taken very seriously should a situation come up. Staff members should not be leaking anything from meetings, staff discord, staff forums, or anything staff related that normal players do not have access to. If a staff member is unsure whether something they want to say is leaking or not, they should ask a manager about it first before they say anything. If a staff member ends up leaking something, the punishment will depend on what information was leaked. If it was something small like a joke from staff discord, they would be given a warning first and any repeat offense could result in temporary suspension or a demotion. If it is something bigger like a staff member leaking meeting notes, depending on what type of information was leaked and how much, from there it would most likely lead to a demotion back to trial or complete removal from the team.

Lila definitely deserves this promotion. She is loyal, kind, fair and does not let her emotions get in the way of her staffing.While I do not play on Halo enough to get a fair look at her staffing, this is purely based on her time as a moderator on Hogwarts. Good luck!

 I can only speak from Hogwarts experience but Lila she is active, Friendly , Approachable, Goes above and Beyond for anything she does I think she will be amazing to have as a staff manager

I completely agree with Jacktot and Lydia. Although I can only speak from the experiences on Hogwarts RP. You were always active as hell, very approachable and kind. 
I definitely think you could lead the team in a great direction.

I haven't seen how you've staffed on Halo, but with my personal experience from Hogwarts you are a hardworking and fair staff member, however leadership is my concern, and I just can't picture you holding a position that requires a lot of leadership skills and and management over a server. Nothing personal, just my own thoughts!

While Lila was a moderator on HWRP I didn't really see her due to tz.
But when I do hope on halo late she is showing good responsibility,
I do believe you need to get a bit more familiar with staffing on halo and etc so
